Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use the Calub app or website (calub.app). “Calub,” “we” and “us” mean the people who run Calub. By using Calub, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Using Calub

• You need to be at least 18 to create a family. Grown-ups can add kids and may give a kid their own login (we recommend 13 and older); the grown-ups in the family are responsible for how their kids use Calub.
• Use a real email address you control. Keep access to your email and devices secure; anyone who can read your email can sign in as you.
• The person who creates a family is its Family Admin and decides who is in it. Invite only people you trust with your family's schedule.

Your family's information

What you put in Calub (events, names, notes) stays yours. You give us permission to store it and show it to the members of your family so the app can work. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy.

Please don't use Calub to store anything illegal, to harass anyone, or to try to access another family's information or break the service.

Linked calendars

If you link an outside calendar, you confirm you're allowed to share it with your family. Calub only reads it; it never changes the outside calendar. Removing a linked event in Calub hides it here only.

Reminders and availability

We work hard to keep Calub running and to deliver reminders on time, but we can't promise it will always be available or that every notification will arrive (phones, networks and notification services can fail or be switched off). Please don't rely on Calub alone for anything where a missed reminder could cause harm, such as medication or safety.

Price

Calub is free while it's in early access. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you the price and what's included before you're charged anything, and paying will always be your choice.

Changes and ending

• We may improve or change Calub over time. If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we'll let you know in the app or by email.
• You can stop using Calub at any time and ask us to delete your data at hello@calub.app.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts other families at risk.
• If we ever shut Calub down, we'll give you advance notice and a way to save your calendar.

The legal part

Calub is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for missed events or reminders, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it (which, while Calub is free, is zero). Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA.
